Program Overview
The “Connect to Your Dreams” program reconnects students with their dreams and goals, provides students with plans and tools to achieve, and to help students overcome obstacles that they may encounter in their professional or personal life. The Platinum Connection has teamed with current and former NFL New York Giants players to provide an electrifying program helps guide students to gain a vision of their role in the future and to see their value in society.
A school or class must enroll in the “Connect to Your Dreams” program. It is not available for individual students.
The “Connect to Your Dreams” program offers four modules –
1. Leadership Development - making choices ( drugs, gangs, high academic achievement, community enhancement)
2. Careers/College
3. High School Transition
4. Creating the balance between sports/academics, community service and family.
5. How do you measure success; how does integrity, compassion, and family values fit into that picture?
Students are provided instruction in the prearranged focus, are assigned tasks, experience hearing and learning from motivational speakers, participate in team-building exercises, and work together to identify and solve a community problem.
